Responding to an increasing demand for particulate-free molding in the medical devices and life sciences packaging markets, PP&E places itself in a unique, and often sought after, position by providing clean room molding capabilities.
In 2004, PP&E constructed a 2,000 square foot Class 10,000 cleanroom set up for eight machines, with six currently installed at our California headquarters, where critical medical devices and high-tech electronic components can be fabricated with no worry of contamination. Because many of our clients require stringent particulate control at an on shore location, we found internal cleanroom capabilities to be a must. All machines are electric with microprocessor closed loop process controls. Designed specifically as a clean room, the space also allows room for assembly operations and ease of maintenance to assure Class 10,000 requirements are re-certified yearly.
We also have three machines in a Class 100,000 cleanroom and three portable Class 100,000 cleanrooms that can be moved over individual molding machines as needed.
Also available for assembly and packaging is a Laminar Flow Hood that meets Class 100 requirements.
